Hello! My name is Kamiya and I am a Print Designer and Illustrator from Leicestershire, UK.
I graduated in Textile Design and specialised in Print design. This path took me to begin my career in fashion, where I have gained more than 5 years of experience in printed textiles, designing prints for various UK high street retailers.
Today my personal work represents a colourful world inspired by my heritage, fashion, travel and daily lifestyle, with a strong emphasis on showcasing modern women who look like me or who are underrepresented in mainstream media.
I think one of the reasons why I love Illustration is because I can create fantasy worlds and characters, which people can connect and resonate with.
